Beatrix Anna Josefa Einsle, née Weninger (24.6.1835 married Anton Einsle in Ofen; d 5.4.1882 aged 67) Residenzgalerie Salzburg (in memoriam Roman Szalay - Donated by Anna Szalay)

Einsle shows his wife Beatrix holding a theatre programme. This work and the artist's Self-portrait are rendered so that the couple are turned towards each other; thus the paintings may be regarded as a married couple portrait. The pictures also refer to the subjects' professions. Einsle had met his wife at a concert in Budapest. They married on 24 June 1835. The artist portrayed his wife's grace and charm in several paintings.
